I was born in California and came to Central Oregon in 1980. I am a graduate of Bend Senior High and Central Oregon Community College, where I earned my Medical Assisting Certificate. I have spent most of my career working in the medical field, starting in 2005 as a Medical Assistant then becoming a Department Manager over several specialty clinics for Summit Medical Group, BMC, where I was able to build my skills in managing large groups of individuals, multimillion dollar budgets, and finally building two AASM certified sleep centers located in Bend and Redmond. In 2013 I joined St. Charles Medical Group, working as an Application Analyst. Managing, maintaining and developing their electronic health system for their multiple Ambulatory clinics, as well as spending a year building a custom radiology interface partnering with Central Oregon Radiology Associates.
In 2019, I began working from home as a Professional Services consultant implementing software as a solution (SaaS) for Allscripts but in April 2020, when Covid erupted, I was laid off. In the fall of 2020, another opportunity presented itself and today partnering with Frontline Education, I work with over 12,000 educational organizations across the nation’s school districts and their staff to implement electronic health records for those who are caring for our future leaders. I am a problem solver, a forward thinker, who likes to think outside the box. I believe that my experience working and communicating with large groups of diverse individuals will allow me to serve the community of CRR now and into the future. I feel that my skills in project management, budgeting, resource management, implementing and troubleshooting will prove invaluable to the ranch as well as the issues it is facing now and in the future.
