Hang Your Hat
Monthly Photo Contest
The winner in our “Birds” category is the wonderful photo seen here of a Great-horned owl feeding her chicks. Taken by Kevin Smith on Cinder Drive near High Cone, it’s a great photo and a great reminder of the variety of wildlife here on Crooked River Ranch. Thanks Kevin, for sending in that winning photo!
We are now looking for photos of the “Deschutes River.” So whether it’s a fly-fisherman enjoying this stretch of that lovely river, or a bird’s-eye view from the bluffs above capturing the scenic beauty of the canyon area, send your photos in to Phyllis.firstname.lastname@example.org by Monday, June 1, 2015. I know there are lots of fans of the river out there, so send your photos in!
Finally, wouldn’t you like to see your photo of the Old Ranch House (aka The Senior Center) on the cover of the 2016 calendar? We’re looking for entries in that category, so grab your camera, get a great shot of that Ranch landmark and it could be on the cover of the 2016 calendar!
Tell us where you took the photo (must be on Crooked River Ranch!)
