My wife and I have lived on the Ranch for four years now. I am also a Lions club member and I help with removing fuels for fire abatement from people’s yards as well as participating in the road clean-ups during the year. I also help manage the horse manure at the Limb Dump and cut and split wood which is sold for the Lion’s Club Scholarship Fund. My last job was working at an electric motor repair shop for 31 years. For 28 of those years, I was shop foreman and trained and supervised over 35 people. Before that I worked at the COCESS store at Vanderberg Air Force Base then transferred to Nellis Air Base to become the Manager of their COCESS store.
My wife and I love living on the Ranch and plan on staying here forever. I have been serving on the Board of Directors for about 1 ½ years and presently serve as the Advisor of the Facilities Services Department, am part of the CC&R Enforcement Issues Team, the Security and Safety Issues Team, the Ad Hoc BOD Sign Committee and helped with the Panorama Park fence removal. I want to continue my service as a Board Member to help ensure the Ranch retains its natural beauty and rural nature. I also realize that we, as a community, must somehow find a way to grow with the times and sometimes find a compromise to ensure everyone’s happiness.
